Dr. Lerner is a chiropractic orthopedist who has been in private practice since 1980. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1976 from the University of Toronto. In 1979, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, now part of Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS). Along the way, he has put together and run several different multidisciplinary medical groups. These groups have included orthopedic and neurosurgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, and acupuncturists – all of whom worked together in a team approach to help their patients.

Twenty-one years ago, in 1998, Dr. Fred N. Lerner became the first chiropractor to receive staff credentials at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He maintained his privileges until 2014. He remains devoted to developing complementary medicine within and without the hospital setting as part of a team approach towards patient care. Throughout the early and mid-1990’s, he worked with several State government groups to reform the Workers Compensation system in California. Fred N.
