Twenty-one years ago, in 1998, Dr. Fred N. Lerner became the first chiropractor to receive staff credentials at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He maintained his privileges until 2014. He remains devoted to developing complementary medicine within and without the hospital setting as part of a team approach towards patient care. Throughout the early and mid-1990’s, he worked with several State government groups to reform the Workers Compensation system in California. Fred N. Lerner, DC, PhD, FACO, attended the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, now Southern California University of Health and Sciences, and was awarded his Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1979 from the University of Touro.
